Invoicing for Freelance Writers

I have recently worked for a company, writing articles, that required I invoice them weekly to recieve payment. The other companies I have worked for had other methods of tracking articles written so I was suprised by this request. Luckily I have had my Freshbooks account for a while now so I was easily able to invoice them for the work I had completed. They loved the fact that I had a Freshbooks account because it made it very easy for them to pay the invoice. With Freshbooks, companies have mulitple payment options available to them including a credit card, paypal, or simply mailing a check. This is just another reason that I am happy to have found Freshbooks.

Freshbooks Made My Taxes Easier

I did the taxes for my business this year and I found out that having my Freshbooks account was very useful. I still have a hard time believing that it is free, so many people charge for everything these days. It was great to just log on and pull all the invoices that I had paid as well as all the ones that I sent to other people. I'm just very happy that I was introduced to this program and if you check it out, I'm sure you will be just as happy as I am with it.

I recently started working from home and I found a company that was willing to hire me on as a freelance writer. The problem was that, as a company, they needed to be invoiced for everything.
Now I could've made an invoice using Word but I was looking for an invoice program that I could set up with PayPal, since that was my method of recieving payments. The company suggested Freshbooks because it is free for up to three companies. I checked it out and I love it!
Freshbooks allowed me to set up PayPal right on my invoices so that the company can pay me right from the invoice. Quick and easy for both of us! Freshbooks also had many other choices for payment so if I run across someone who wants to pay another way, they will probably have a set up for it.
Besides the pay, Freshbooks is very easy to use. They have drafts of a service invoice and a product invoice for you to start with. If you have already set up PayPal, you can just select that option in your invoice. Once you have set up an invoice with your payment terms and payment options, your future invoices will have that information loaded in.
